We celebrated Christmas a little early in Chicago since actual Christmas Day was spent in Tampa. Tika got exactly what he wanted: "Car-ies!" with just a touch of "Choo choos."

Our wonderful friends from MI (who are close enough to be called family) generously purchased Tika & Leah their first house! Large enough to fit 2 parents + 2 children (trust us, we tried!) and with enough sounds, seats, and windows for endless fun! Thanks Marsha, Ricky, and Kristin!

Pre-Christmas Gift (Dec '09)

Mega Bloks King for Tika & Mater Playset for Leah

Sticking with tradition, the kids were allowed to have a gift early this year (even earlier since we celebrated Chicago Christmas the first week of December) and both Tika and Leah received Mega Bloks of their favorite Disney Cars characters!

Tampa (Nov '09)

Most people joke that the way to a child's heart is through their stomach with sweets and tasty foods! The way to Tika's is apparently through cars, trucks, and even more cars! Ha-la-bu-gi took Christian to Walmart and came home with what looks like aisle 3's inventory from the toy department! Thanks to both Ha-la-bu-gi & Hal-mu-ni!
